She was the youngest person in the competition and was beaten to first place by Joss Stone. Since leaving school, Alexandra has pursued a career in music. In 2005 she auditioned for The X Factor and got through to the Judges Houses stage. However, Louis said she was too young and ended her X Factor dream in Dublin. Alexandra has had no professional vocal training and learnt to sing from her mother. Recently she went on tour with Young Voices, a charity that raises money for children with Leukaemia, performing at The Royal Albert Hall, Dublin Point Theatre and the MEN Arena. Alexandra is hoping that her second chance at X Factor stardom will give her career the lift it so desperately needs. Alexandra is mentored by Cheryl Cole.

When elephants retire, many head for the Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, Tenn. They arrive one by one, but they tend to live out their lives two-by-two. "Every elephant that comes here searches out someone that she then spends most all of her time with," says sanctuary co-founder Carol Buckley. It's like having a best girlfriend, Buckley says - "Somebody they can relate to, they have something in common with." Debbie has Ronnie. Misty can't live without Dulary. Those are pachyderm-pachyderm pairs. But perhaps the closest friends of all are Tarra and Bella. That would be Tarra the 8,700 pound Asian elephant. And Bella. The dog. "This is her friend," Buckley says, scratching Bella's tummy. "Her friend just happens to be a dog and not an elephant." "Bella knows she's not an elephant. Tarra knows she's not a dog," Buckley adds. "But that's not a problem for them." Bella is one of more than a dozen stray dogs that have found a home at the sanctuary. Most want nothing to do with the elephants and vice versa. But not this odd couple. "When it's time to eat they both eat together. They drink together. They sleep together. They play together," Buckley says. Tarra and Bella have been close for years -- but no one really knew how close they were until recently. A few months ago Bella suffered a spinal cord injury. She couldn't move her legs, couldn't even wag her tail. For three weeks the dog lay motionless up in the sanctuary office. And for three weeks the elephant held vigil: 2,700 acres to roam free, and Tarra just stood in the corner, beside a gate, right outside that sanctuary office. "She just stood outside the balcony - just stood there and waited," says Buckley. "She was concerned about her friend." Then one day, sanctuary co-founder Scott Blais carried Bella onto the balcony so she and Tarra could at least see each other. "Bella's tail started wagging. And we had no choice but bring Bella down to see Tarra," Blais says. They visited like that every day until Tarra could walk. Today, their love -- and trust -- is stronger than ever. Bella even lets Tarra pet her tummy - with the bottom of her enormous foot. They harbor no fears, no secrets, no prejudices. Just two living creatures who somehow managed to look past their immense differences. *Take good look America. Take a good look world. If they can do it - what's our excuse?*

The first verse is basically just saying that he's had a good life. King's mountain view, wild dream come true, treasures of flesh never few. He's saying he lives a good life, at least with respect to material possesions. Then he says he'd give it all up to stay with "you". The next verse says "the devil and his had me down". This is trying to say that he got tied up in the "dark side", or that his life had gotten on a track that he wasn't proud of. He says that "you" changed that all for him. Saying that this "you" got him back on the right track, meaning his mother? The third verse seems to be about him "praying" and "begging" to get out of the mess he was in. "Tempted the devil with my song, and got what I wanted all along." It seems like he's saying he found a way out, or maybe that he found happiness (what he wanted all along, though in different forms?), Then he says what I think is the most important line in the whole song, "Dim my eyes if they should compromise or fulcrum want and need. If I need this I might as well be gone." With the first sentence, he's saying he wants to "dim his eyes" if they cause him to "compromise or fulcrum want and need". Basically, he's saying that there's a balance between want and need, and if his eyes (greed) unbalance them, he wants to ignore them to help him stay on track. Then he says "If I need this I might as well be gone." I think he means that if the material possesions become what he needs (instead of "you") then there's no point in living anymore. "Silence legion, save your poison. Silence legion, stay out of my way." Basically, I think he's speaking to the devil and demons saying that he doesn't need them anymore because he's found what's really important to him. The whole song seems to be about being willing to give up all possessions to keep what's really important near you. In this case, I think it's his mother, though that's really up for interpretation as it doesn't seem to be clearly stated. -The Separation This is the haunting story of two people who had a very close relationship, as in they were conjoined twins. In the beginning you see how content the two are almost complete. Then the operation seperates the two, crippling one of them in more than one way. The two feel so empty inside. They make toy dolls and on accident one of the twins sews two of them together and recalls a familiar scene, and disturbingly get's an idea to fix what haunts the two for good, to feel whole again. They create the machine and the machine does nothing but destroy further what they had lost. Now left in a mangled mess the two seem to await the day that they can return to one. I thought that the video told a symbolic story version of the song Jambi and interpreted what I believe to be the meaning behind the songs lyric's I think they went together rather beautifly... -Morgasmo
