Atheists aren't that bad. This is NOT an argument for atheism... It's a defense of atheists.
This video received the award for "Excellence in Humanist Communications" from the Harvard University Humanist Chaplaincy.
James Randi said this video was "very cool!"
Michael Shermer said it was "very impressive."
Penn & Teller said, "If a god existed, this video would make him wish he were dead."
Dan Barker (author of "Losing Faith in Faith") said it was "very creative and powerful" and that it "makes a GREAT point!"
Greg Epstein (the Humanist Chaplain of Harvard University) said "it's a wonderful video!"
Stephen Ulh (author of "Imagine No Superstition") said that this video was "just wonderful for the cause of atheism."
David Mills (author of "Atheist Universe") said "I am absolutely addicted to watching this fabulous video, which has almost instantly become a legend in the freethought community. Zak has created the most intellectually and emotionally powerful multimedia presentation I've ever seen endorsing the atheist position. This is a proud moment for all rational-minded people. Atheist books can have wide-reaching influence, but I strongly suspect that Zak's video will influence a much larger audience than any atheist book ever published. The first few times I watched this video, I literally had tears in my eyes by the end. The artistic talent and technical skills required to write and produce this video -- as well as its core message -- have made Zachary Kroger my newest freethought hero. I'm not surprised at the HUGE reaction Zak's video has generated."
This video (among others) was also mentioned in the November 4th New York Times article "God and Man on YouTube."
Nobelief.com said this was "the best video of 2006."
NOTE- It has been brought to my attention that Marlon Brando, Mark Twain, and Susan B. Anthony are not atheists. I looked into it, and my original sources were wrong. Sorry.

Lastly, I am pleased to see how much debate this video has sparked, and I encourage everyone that wants to, to join in. HOWEVER, spamming will not be tolerated. Nor will racist, sexist, or other mean comments. Such behavior is not conducive to good conversations, and users who do not act accordingly will be blocked. If you want to insult people, go somewhere else.

If you like researching... send me a message.
Gallup has released some EXCELLENT data I can use for the next video. It shows even more definitely the relationship of belief in god and education as well as education and belief in creationism or evolution.

an atheist walking and discussing the bible, jesus and god with believers. the atheist challenges the christians to provide him with evidence of god. the atheist uses scientific data and science as the basis for his beliefs and "faith." this is a spontaneous continuous video clip (no edits, cuts or scripts). the atheist's experiences, research and education seems to have prepared him well for this exchange which happened in may 2004.

http://www.ted.com The session was titled "The Design of Life," and the TED audience was probably expecting remarks about evolution's role in our history from biologist Richard Dawkins. Instead, he launched into a full-on appeal for atheists to make public their beliefs and to aggressively fight the incursion of religion into politics and education (quoting Douglas Adams in the bargain). Scientists and intellectuals hold very different beliefs about God from the American public, he says, yet they are cowed by the overall political environment. Dawkins' scornful tone drew strongly mixed reactions from the audience; some stood and applauded his courage. Others wondered whether his strident approach could do more harm than good. Dawkins went on to publish The God Delusion and become perhaps the world's best-known atheist.

Atheism is a lack of belief in the existence of a personal God. Alan Watts did not believe in a personal God.
"The difficulty for most of us in the modern world is that the old-fashioned idea of God has become incredible or implausible." -Alan Watts
"The religious idea of God cannot do full duty for the metaphysical infinity." -Alan Watts
"The style of God venerated in the church, mosque, or synagogue seems completely different from the style of the natural universe." -Alan Watts
"But to me nothing - the negative, the empty - is exceedingly powerful." -Alan Watts

As nice as it was to see Fox News host Neil Cavuto even question the recent political ad from Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee in which the image of a cross floats behind the head of the former Baptist Minister as he talks about Jesus, I quickly found it was all just an opportunity to invite on atheist Michael Newdow and strawman Newdow's arguments. In these clips from the December 18 Fox News broadcast, I show how Michael Newdow PWNs Neil Cavuto as Cavuto shows his bias by attacking Newdow and failing to address Newdow's argument.
And, speaking of bias, this video is another of DOZENS of examples you can find on my Fox News Bias playlist at: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D
